Admissions Division

The Admissions Division orders the admissions item (buttons or wristbands), inventories the item upon arrival, schedules all volunteers at the Festival to work at the gates selling admission, and does the logistics for the Headquarters tent.

Division Coordinator

The division coordinator oversees all work involved in getting the ADO Festival admissions item produced, inventoried, priced, advertised and sold. This includes getting publicity needs to the publicity committee, attending board meetings to make progress reports, acting as a liaison between admission committees, contacting volunteers, and filing in, should a committee chair position become vacant, until a replacement can be found.

Admissions Design

Committee chair selects colors (coordinated with brand identity), determines the number of admissions item needed, obtains bids, orders sample item, then (onboard approval) places the main order. The chair keeps track of the order, checks for accuracy when an order arrives and helps distribute as needed.

Admissions Festival Sales

Committee chair recruits volunteers and instructs them on how to sell admissions item at the Festival. The chair determines booth locations (coordinate with Physical Arrangements Division). The chair has signs made publicizing organizations or businesses participating. The chair collects all admissions item on hand, distributes these and cash change to the booths, and keeps the booths stocked. Before and after the Festival, the chair arranges for set-up and dismantling of booths and returns all supplies to a proper location. The chair makes a final inventory of unsold admissions item and returns them to ADO Festival storage.
