Exhibitions Division

The Exhibitions Division coordinates all exhibitions including the Arts and Crafts Show at the Festival, the Juried and Open Art Exhibition, the ADO Festival Ball, the Flower Show at the Festival, and the Parade.

Division Coordinator Co-Chair

The division coordinator oversees the work of all the Exhibition Committees. The chair also provides information to the Publicity Committee, attend board meetings to make progress reports, facilitates communication between committee chairpersons, secures bids for permanent supplies and equipment, helps contact volunteers and fills in, should a committee chair become vacant, until a replacement can be found.

Banquet Award

The committee chair gathers information on available bands, decides on and contracts with the band (with board approval), sets ticket price and number to be printed, books facility and decides if there will be a costume contest. The chair supervises the design, printing, and distribution of the Banquet poster and tickets. The chair monitors ticket sale and collects money from outlets. The chair secures volunteers to help and oversees the ball.

ICE and Fashion Show

The committee chair determines the location for receiving, judging and displaying entries. The chair selects judges, secures prize ribbons and rosettes, sees that the show is publicized, arranges gratuity for judges and secures any decorations needed. The chair sets up entry and judging the area on the day of the festival and oversees the display during the festival. After the festival, the chair dismantles the area and distributes leftover flowers to rest homes, etc. The chair follows up with payment of prizes and sees that winners are publicized.

Parade Co-Chair The committee chair secures a parade permit and plans the parade staging area, route and traffic control with the police department, city officials and highway department. The chair edits have printed and distributed entry forms. The chair secures volunteers for all parade needs; arranges for judges, ribbons and a judging area; and oversees staging area and traffic control on the day of the parade. After the parade, the chair sees that winners are publicized and distributes prizes.
